Corporate Travel in Armenia 2024: Our Success Stories in A Year in Review

This year has been nothing short of extraordinary for Levon Travel agency. We navigated a variety of projects focused on corporate travel in Armenia that made a significant impact.

As we wrap up the year, we can share a part of the corporate travel tours we do. Corporate travel is a broad term as it includes so many aspects. It can be a city tour, exclusive accommodations to organize tours for large professional groups, or facilitating international conference travel.

This year was also marked by collaboration with esteemed partners and organizations. Each project, no matter the size or scope, has been unique. It not only strengthened our reputation in the corporate travel sector but also highlighted our ability to cater to the diverse needs of our various partners.

This blog will share some of the successful corporate travel stories of 2024.

Photography Tour

One of the standout corporate travel success stories of the year was our Armenia Photography Tour, created in collaboration with Namaa Photography. This exclusive journey brought a group of Italian photographers to Armenia, offering them a chance to capture the essence of the country through their lenses.

Themed “Armenia – Poetry of Colors”, this tour went beyond the conventional tourist experience. The clients wanted to experience the vibrant culture, history, and daily life of Armenia.

The photographers had a chance to capture the essence of Armenia from the streets of Yerevan to the landscapes of Mount Aragats. Highlights included some masterclasses and places unusual for tourists. One of them was a visit to a duduk maker’s studio, inspecting a salt mine and documenting ancient traditions such as lavash-making and khachkar carving.

Participants also had a chance to take stunning photos of iconic sites like Garni, Geghard, Khor Virap, and Noravank, as well as lesser-known places like Yazidi villages and Gyumri’s artisan workshops.

Annual School Trips

Although it’s not only about corporate travel, organizing annual group trips for Armenian schools from the U.S. to Armenia has become a cherished tradition. We were proud to host students from Vahan & Anoush Chamlian Armenian School, Ferrahian High School, and Armenian Mesrobian School.

Levon Travel agency tried its best to provide them with an unforgettable journey to learn more about Armenia’s history, culture, and natural beauty. The tours usually kick off with a warm welcome at Zvartnots Airport, followed by an exploration of Yerevan. Students visit key landmarks such as the Armenian Genocide Memorial, Mother Armenia statue, Matenadaran and other spots.

Unique Corporate Travel Projects

In addition to offering comprehensive tour packages, Levon Travel is focused on projects for companies hosting meetings, conferences, or business delegations in Armenia. The services range from annual meetups for large groups to tours for international business delegations.

One of the most rewarding yet challenging projects this year was managing a tour for a delegation of 200 professionals from attending their annual corporate gathering in Armenia. The logistics of accommodating such a large group required additional planning and attention to details. This time our goal was to arrange tours showcasing Armenia’s rich history and culture.

Another notable project was booking accommodation organizing a city tour, and sightseeing for a renowned international company visiting Armenia for business purposes. Balancing tight schedules with cultural experiences was a unique challenge.

Levon Travel also had the pleasure of booking tickets for some prominent guests of the Golden Apricot International Film Festival and other celebrities visiting Armenia. Such projects also demand flexibility and attention to detail.

Corporate Travel Services for Armenian Companies

In 2024, Levon Travel expanded its network of corporate clients, taking on diverse and exciting projects to meet the needs of Armenian companies. The travel experts handled various tasks from organizing trips to international conferences and summits to managing educational programs. For example, one of the projects included sending students to summer schools in the UK. The other focused on facilitating business delegations for industry-specific events.

One of the examples is that we supported a mining company’s delegation traveling to a major conference in the U.S., ensuring efficient visa processing, flight arrangements, and accommodations. Another highlight was coordinating trips for Armenian delegates attending CES, a globally renowned tech event.

Corporate travel can be complex, particularly for Armenian businesses that are facing unique challenges. Limited direct flights to major business hubs often complicate scheduling, while visa restrictions require preparation efforts. Each destination presents its own set of requirements, from invitation letters to strict timelines for documentation. This is the reason the expert guidance of a travel agent is essential.
