But AirFest isn’t just about entertainment. Its primary goal is to boost the development of small aviation in Armenia. This year, the festival will feature top experts from the aviation industry, who will share insights and experiences on the latest trends in the field. The sessions are designed to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.

Areni Wine Festival

This year, Armenia is buzzing with wine events, starting with Yerevan Wine Days in June and leading up to this iconic festival. The Areni Wine Festival is back for its 16th year, taking place in the charming village of Areni in Vayots Dzor on the first Saturday of October. Known as the cradle of winemaking, Areni is where almost every household has its own vineyard and wine production setup. This village is a perfect spot to host a wine festival that gives local winemakers a chance to showcase their best creations.

Thanks to the Areni Wine Festival, wine tourism has flourished in the region, with new wineries, gastro yards, and grape varieties popping up each year. Over the past 15 years, guest houses have multiplied, home restaurants have opened, and family winemakers have increased.

The festival kicks off with the traditional grape pressing ceremony. Expect to taste wines from local producers. In addition, enjoy the sounds of Armenian national music and traditional dances.

The organizers of the Tea, Coffee & Chocolate Festival in Armenia know this better than anyone. This event is for anyone who loves a good cup of coffee and has a sweet tooth.

This festival, especially during autumn when there’s nothing better than sipping a hot drink and enjoying something sweet in one of Yerevan’s cozy cafes, is an incredible experience.

Held at Seasons Park on October 4-6, the festival offers a perfect setting for a crisp autumn day. Visitors can wander around the park, sampling a wide variety of teas and coffees, from familiar brands to exciting new ones. For tea lovers, there’s an amazing selection of herbal, berry, and fruit teas. This is something Armenians drink in everyday life. Of course, there can be no coffee festival without delicious pastries, pakhlava and gata.
