In a recent study by travel expert and ferry operator DFDS, over 500 European vineyards were analyzed. The analysis was based on more than 20,000 Google reviews to identify the continent’s most stunning wine destinations. Armenian winery has also made it to the list. Besides, the list includes vineyards from Croatia, Italy, France, England, Portugal and Albania.

Croatia’s Vinarija Rizman was named the most beautiful, outranking famous wineries in Italy and France. It’s a family-owned winery with great traditions and, most importantly, a stunning sea view.

The study assessed the reviews, whether positive, neutral, or negative, to calculate a normalized satisfaction score. These scores were then combined to create an overall rating out of 100 for each vineyard.

While brandy has long been Armenia’s signature spirit, the vibrant revival of winemaking has put Armenian wine on the global map. Thus, wine tasting has become an increasingly popular activity for visitors.
